The UK’s biggest gaming retailer has sold more than 2.2 million consoles since it launched its latest console, the Nintendo Switch, in November.
The retail chain has also been a key part of the resurgence in console sales, with the latest figures showing that sales increased by over 4% on the same period last year.
The numbers were revealed as Nintendo’s Chief Executive Officer Tatsumi Kimishima announced that Nintendo Switch sales were the best in Nintendo history.
In a statement, Nintendo said: “Sales on the Nintendo Select system were the strongest since January.
This year, Nintendo Switch has surpassed the sales of its predecessor.
Sales are up 8.5% compared to 2016.”
Nintendo is also expected to launch the Nintendo 3DS in the US this month.
The Nintendo Switch launched in November last year, but has seen a surge in sales over the past few months.
In December, sales rose to over 2.1 million units, and by the end of January the figure was more than 3.4 million units.
In November last season, Nintendo sold just over 1.5 million consoles, but in January this year, sales were up 15.4% to over 1 million.
Sales of Nintendo Switch consoles in the UK were up by 10.1% in the first half of 2018, while sales of other gaming consoles in March grew by 6.2%.
The figures will be put to a vote in Parliament on Wednesday.
