When Windows 10 came out last month, ASUS was quick to declare its interest in supporting the operating system.
Now, the company has announced that it will make the audio and audio playback options on its Zenbook UX305 desktop PCs available to the Windows 10 Insider Program as soon as they are ready.
The Asus Zenbook Z370-A Pro has a 5th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and a 256GB Thunderbolt 3 hard drive.
Asus says the desktop PCs will run Windows 10, but it won’t be the default desktop.
The company says the laptops have Thunderbolt 3 ports and will work with Windows 10 on Thunderbolt 3 devices.
“Windows 10’s new operating system enables many new possibilities for PCs, including more powerful gaming experiences, faster applications, and more,” the company said in a statement.
“The UX305 will be the first ASUS-powered Windows 10 laptop, and will enable users to play games on Windows with the latest DirectX 11 API.
It will also offer the same advanced graphics capabilities and audio capabilities as Windows 10 PCs, and support for Thunderbolt 3 and Intel Thunderbolt 3.”
The company says it plans to announce more details on the UX305 in the coming weeks.
